Math and Science Learning Through Basketball

We create programs for youngsters to learn valuable and lifelong math and science skills.

We use basketball themed content to build interesting and engaging games, curriculum and tools that guide youngsters to learn in fun and enjoyable ways.

According to the National Academies of Science 2005 blue-ribbon panel report, “Rising above the Gathering Storm.”, we can and should enlarge the pipeline of students with the desire and preparation to pursue advanced study in science, technology, engineering, and math, and that encouraging that interest ought to begin in the early grades.

We develop and deploy basketball-themed math and science materials, learning tools and programs for youngsters in underserved communities, in order to generate increased passion for and commitment to lifelong math and science achievement.  At 3point14.org, we believe there is a lot of commonality between hoops, math and science.
